Can I sleep with dentures?

No, one should remove the dentures before sleeping otherwise it can lead to fungal infections.

How to take care of them?

Dentures are to be kept in a container with cold water overnight as dry dentures tend to change the shape.
When you wake up, clean the denture with soap water and soft brush and then put them on.
Take care dentures don’t fall on the ground as it can lead to breakage.

Adjusting With Dentures

Dentures might interfere with speech but you need to speak out loud with dentures in mouth to adjust phonetics. Start with reading newspaper/ magazine.
Dentures may cause ulcers in mouth. You need not worry about it. These are the areas where your dentist will adjust the denture and everything will be fine.
You have to eat from both sides of denture simultaneously. Take two bites on each sides from back teeth and then slowly chew so that equal pressure is created on both sides.
